Nov 12-14, 2027
Taipei, Taiwan
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the Asian Pacific Society for Transcranial Focused Ultrasound Surgery (APFUS) biennial meeting.
Focused ultrasound has rapidly evolved from an innovative technology into an important clinical platform with the potential to transform the treatment of neurological disorders. Across the Asia-Pacific region, we are witnessing remarkable advances in MR-guided focused ultrasound, neuromodulation, lesioning, drug delivery, and emerging applications in functional neurosurgery, movement disorders, epilepsy, psychiatric disorders, and beyond.
APFUS was established with a clear mission: to bring together clinicians, scientists, engineers, and industry partners across Asia-Pacific to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and accelerate the translation of focused ultrasound from laboratory research to safe and effective clinical care. Our region is diverse, but this diversity provides a unique opportunity to develop innovative solutions that address the needs of our patients and healthcare systems.
This congress is more than an academic meeting. It is a platform for exchanging ideas, building lasting partnerships, encouraging young investigators, and shaping the future of focused ultrasound in our region.
I sincerely thank all of our invited speakers, faculty members, participants, supporting organizations, and industry partners for making this meeting possible.
Let us work together to advance innovation, strengthen regional collaboration, and ultimately bring better treatments to our patients.
I look forward to welcoming you and sharing an inspiring and memorable APFUS Congress together.
